Wrapping up our annual Pink October efforts! This year, Pacific Ridge Builders proudly joined forces at the Making Strides Silicon Valley Walk 2024 to support the fight against breast cancer. Our team, filled with energy and a commitment to make a difference, took to the streets to raise awareness and funds for this crucial cause. Thanks to the incredible support of our team members, friends, and family, we’re excited to share that Team PRB not only surpassed our fundraising goal but raised an inspiring $7,339.63! 🎉💖 A PRB RECORD!
Making Strides Fridays and Our Heartfelt Lunch and Learn
This October, PRB came together each Friday for Making Strides Fridays—a weekly gathering to raise awareness and build team spirit in support of breast cancer awareness month. Additionally, we hosted a heartfelt Lunch and Learn with Julie, a recent breast cancer survivor, who bravely shared her powerful journey. Julie’s story highlighted the importance of early detection and resilience, inspiring us all to stand united in this fight.
During the Lunch and Learn, we participated in a moving group activity called “The Butterfly Effect.” Each member displayed the names of family and friends affected by breast cancer, a powerful reminder of the strength and support within our community.

As we conclude this month’s activities, Team PRB proudly carries the spirit of “Hard Hats, Strong Hearts: Building a Cure.” We look forward to continuing our journey with Making Strides and supporting those affected by breast cancer.
